Patagioenas - a genus of birds of the pigeon family. Previously included in the genus of pigeons (Columba).

The species of the genus are common in South, Central and North America.

The genus includes 17 species:

  • Patagioenas araucana - Chilean pigeon
  • Patagioenas caribaea - striped Jamaican pigeon
  • Patagioenas cayennensis - red pigeon
  • Patagioenas corensis - head-eyed pigeon
